My friends

This week I hung out with a few older friends:) Mommy's teaching partner has two boys that I enjoying chasing around. Here I am playing Ethan's drums. They invited us to go swimming with them and I had a blast! I kept everyone on their toes because I seemed to think that I could swim without any help or jump in whether someone was there to catch me or not. Here I am posing with Eli, Ethan, and Ms. Amy.
Check out my body in this bikini!
There was a kid slide going right into the pool. "Watch this" as I like to say all the time now...

Slip~n~Slide!

You can't have a summer without a slip~n~slide right? Well, Mommy got me one and Daddy set it up on the hill in our front yard. I was a little leery at first because the water was ice cold, but once I got used to it....I loved it!
Here I am helping Daddy pour some water on it. Eventually we added some Dawn soap to make it work better! Daddy helped me warm up to the water by sticking our heads in it!!!
I got brave and liked going down on my belly the best!
Got a little drink that time down!
Here are a couple of videos of my fun afternoon.

Trip to Campbellsville

Well last week I spent the whole week in Campbellsville. Mommy and Daddy took me and left me! Can you believe it! I got to spend some time with Nana and KK and all the family in between! I was SPOILED when I got back home~fits, whines, and all kinds of emotions! I've settled back in at home now though.
These are a few pics from "the creek" before Mommy and Daddy jetted.
This is my "all by myself" pose. If someone says do it by yourself, I think that I must cross my arms in this position and do whatever the task may be...even climbing stairs. I haven't realized they just mean without their help, and that I can let my arms relax. I picked this pretty yellow dandelion, smelled it, and carefully placed it back in the ground ;)Climbing the tree at Nana Bec's with my cousin Ben.My handstand!!!I went to visit KK at work and she took me out to see the school buses! As you can see I even strapped on my seat belt and grabbed the wheel!I also got to visit my cousins Riley and Reese....for some reason I don't have a pic with both of them. I can't imagine why!!! This is me swinging and loving it while Uncle Bobby is supposed to be pushing me but it looks like he's doing more "baseball" talking with Daddy.
Riding shotgun in Nana's car....just down to Granny's house.
Granny reading me a book.Holding my first kitty cat at Aunt Ollie's house. I like kitty cats!
Helping Nana cook breakfast....eggs anyone?

Since I've completed my first year at daycare here and I'm home with Mommy for the summer, Ms. Becky gave us a CD with LOTS of pics of me while I was having a blast at school. The slideshow above shows some of Mommy's favorites.
In those pics you'll notice I have my patch on in most of them. Daycare was unbelievable at getting me to wear it. The doctor would like for me to have it on 4 hours a day. On the weekdays I wore it from 8 until whenever Mommy picked me up (4-4:30)....take out nap time and that's around 5-6 hours everyday! Mommy and Daddy didn't ever have to patch me at night and I could even have a break from it on the weekends. All of my eye progression this year is because of my wonderful daycare teachers!

The following pictures are some creative strategies Ms. Becky and the girls used to get me to wear my patch. The first one is....just tape the heck out of it!!!

You'll notice in this pic I have less tape, but I'm much older here and I know Ms. Becky doesn't play around! This tape is simply to hold the patch on because it's been on sooo long! I'm too interested in this art project to realize that I even have on a patch.

This look Mommy calls the Rambo!!!

And if you'll notice in this pic a lot of my friends liked my Rambo look, so they all have headbands on too!!! What are friends for!
